Punk is in! #10

Punk started with destructive music in NYC around the 1970's. This hard style with leather, spikes, red lips, and chains was something to get used to and slowly became the craze for young rebellious people wanting to express themselves through fashion. Thankfully once it was accepted it made a mark in fashion history. Now 30 years this rebellious style is coming back in full force.

Some necessary pieces for this punk wardrobe is

The motorcycle jacket...

Doc Martins...

Dark lipstick...

These three pieces give hints of the punk trend without going over the top punk rock. Show your rebellious side this year in your own personal style.

What made that fashion show interesting? #9

Looking through various fashion shows, I discovered several different interesting things that made various shows stand out. One show was the fall 2013 ready to wear for Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld decided to have a large globe in the middle of the runway marking all the Chanel stores throughout the world. As the models walked, the globe slowly rotated giving the audience a wordily perspective of different Chanel styles.

Another show that stood out was the fall 2013 ready to wear Dior. The look of the show made it look as if the models were walking on the sky. They had massive reflective spheres around the entrance of the runway to make it look like the runway was longer and to also make it look like the models appeared out of mid air.

These decorative fashion shows makes the fashion world that much more appealing to the audience and fashion interested people internationally.
